The thing about fauna is that it tends to bugger off at the approach of humans. That said a group of screeching monkeys or a flock of airborne macaws would make for a great 'blind' marker indicating the possible location of advancing troops.  Jaguars and pumas are about the biggest bit of fauna you'll find, that are common across the region but they are both notoriously shy/ wary of humans.

Very nice collection you've built up.

And while Carlos is quite right about fauna making itself scarce, it is still a great atmospheric element to a game.  Alas, Central America and environs is not well catered to in 15 mm but I am always hoping for improvements on that front, almost certainly from the 3D printed world though, as always, I'd prefer in metal.
