A new Frostgrave mini has been painted. This time a Knight from Wargames Exclusive:

Very cool! How did you get the ice effect on the sword?

That frost effect on the blade looks quite good, what did you use for that? And how durable will it be? Looks fragile!

Green Stuff World - Liquid Frost.
Just apply a couple of drops along the length of the sword. You may want to let the first batch dry a bit to follow up with another layer. I tried it first with the Battle Nun and with her I didn´t achieve the ice crystals you see on the Knight. And thanks for the praise!

See my previous post.
I don´t travel around with my models. The Frostgrave minis are in a plastic box with 16 spaces. You just don´t touch the sword and handle the model with care. It´s not too difficult. And thanks for the praise.

Update:
It´s not much but better than nothing. For a change I will turn my attention now to the Frostling R&F army project. For this I will tackle the Dungeon Sisters (Brother Vinni minis) regiment. I plan to do at least a single rank (meaning 5 models) in the next weeks. Here is the banner and bases for five Dungeon Sisters:

https://ibb.co/album/gL2GFd

The banner has been liberated from the GW Dark Elf Warriors WHFB model range. As I have two of those boxes (20 models in total) there won´t be any issues of not being able to build a command group (Champion, Standard Bearer & Musician) for them in the future.

The Dungeon Sister with the raised halberd will become the Standard Bearer. All I have to do is to carefully cut off the blade, smoothen the pole and attach the banner to it AFTER I have painted her. Going to do just that right now. Wish me luck and a speedy progress!

The North Star is the icon of the Frostling army and has been done with the help of masking tape. First I drew the sign on a piece of paper, glued it on masking tape, cut it out and applied it on the banner.
