My sculpt of a nun from a few months ago, cast in resin. She became a New Antioch medic with some green stuff.

As if nuns aren’t terrifying enough already!  ;)

Really outstanding work in this thread - the scratch building and conversions  are excellent and everything looks great painted. Trench Crusade falls outside my own areas of interest (at least for now), but I admire your concepts and execution.

I've heard people being afraid of clowns, but come on, now nuns are also considered terrifying?  lol

Thank you! I still see it as some of a 40k ripoff, but with a little more ww1 influence than regular 40k which is welcome. The rules are cool though, simple, yet lots of tactics in it. And it really took off in my club, there are a lot of people playing it, also a campaign started, some cool tables made, so the investment of converting 1-2 new figures is really worth it.

Some people are afraid of their own shadow, apparently - there's nowt so queer as folk!  lol

I'm guessing that priest is a bit of a farter if the nun has to resort to a gas mask!  lol

Nice going though - they do look good when finished.

You know what they say: be grateful when a nun spanks you as a child, as an adult you will have to pay a lot of money for the same experience.

Nah, it is hard to see on the photos, but he has a cigar. Gas masks and helmets are buyable equipment in the game, as gas weapons are rare, I do not spend points on gas masks for most of my figures, but the nun is among the few entries who have it as starter equipment.

Thank you, yes, sculpting is maybe the most enjoyable aspect in the hobby for me.

Cracking as always! I do love the attention you give to pouches, cannisters, spare weapons etc on all these models- it makes them look that much more "real" than just a person with a weapon.

Thank you! I think I alread wrote somewhere that since I extend my pack rat mentality to my traveling too, always wondered of people who start their world shattering quest with only an unsheathed sword. Conan the Barbarian would die of dehydration around the 15th minute of his adventures, going into the desert like that. It was a relief to see the hobbits in the LotR movies, someone actually prepares for a journey!
...on the other hand by ww1 standards soldiers had to leave behind their baggage when going into a fight, so no one assaulted enemy trenches with backpacks and tent canvas on his back. So it depends, anyways, I prefer my soldiers well equipped.

Man oh man, I continue to enjoy your awesome hobby efforts, Freddy! It's really nice that you're able to repurpose an old army into this system too.

Loving the various kitbashing and converting- that sniper priest is suitably bonkers! What did you make the original warjack suits from? Nice use of the Anvil Industry suits too!

Thank you for the positive comments!
The original jacks are my sculpts cast for the torsos and the legs, the arms are converted individually from plasticard and various bitz.
