Warhammer Quest Cursed City
« on: 19 July 2021, 12:48:18 PM »
Hi all,

No so long ago I finally finished painting minis from my previous Warhammer Quest game - more of that here.

And now I'm starting with another Warhammer Quest board game the Cursed City.
Some small hostiles for now...

Diregoyles

Gnawbone Strays

Corpse Rats - The bigger ones are Blood Rats

I painted first two playable characters for this game.

Brutogg Corpse-Eater is a Ogor mercenary from the Norringfist Clan who has a taste for the Undead.

Octren Glimscry is a Human member of the Pact Mortalis and a rival of Torgillius the Chamberlain.

Nice work MaaX. I have the game but haven't even cracked it open. I was thinking of going with clear acrylic bases but now having seen your basing I am reconsidering.

Thanks I'm glad you like it.

I don't like the clear bases myself but I've seen a lot off people using them for other Warhammer Quest games and regular Warhammer.

With my bases I was going for kind of dead city with some cobblestones here and there.

Vargskyr - from the game painted by my wife.

A complete and bestial manifestation of the Vyrkos strain of the Soulblight curse, Vargskyr are Vampires whose bloodlust has either overcome them or have not fed for long enough that they have lost their sentience and become terrifying Undead vampiric beasts.

Very nice work stretching back a few years I see! Your wife did a great job on the beast- I like the purple hue, and I gotta say that painting the ogre green looks like quite an homage to the incredible Hulk (intentional or not!)- great job!
I have a YouTube and so can you!

Yeah its been a while :)

The Hulk look was not intentional but I do like him.
