Hi Steve,

Although it's been a while since I bought a couple of the generic casualty figures from you, I thought I'd post up a couple which I painted during today while snowed in at home.  The figures are wonderful to paint and make great casualty markers, in this case for a World War One trench raiding game.  I shredded the jacket on one using a little green stuff, and added a pack to the other as well as some bits of kit.

Thanks again for sending them  :) ,

Sidney

Excellent work, Sidney old bean. You must post pics of the others that you have done and posted on the Lardies Yahoo Group.

Thanks everyone.  As requested by Phil, here's the other three casualty markers I finished on Snow Wednesday.  I really enjoyed doing these markers (if "enjoy" is the right word for such a grim subject matter).  They were just something a little bit different.  Anyway, I started another 10 casualty markers last night as a sort of mini-project for the weekend.  I'll see if I can post the next 10 in a new thread later this weekend.  Sorry that the photo quality isn't brilliant (and getting better at photography is yet another project for 2010)  :)

The skeletal stellungsbattalionkampfer has a Brigade Miniatures body (with green stuff shredding), a GW plastic  skeleton's head and a Bolt Action Miniatures helmet.  The lovely rat is from Pardoulon.  All the barbed wire is from Forgeworld (and yes, that stuff is really lethal!).  The water effects are "Solid Water" picked up from 4D Models.  The dead stormtropper is from Great War Minaitures.

Wow! Those are great, given the subject matter. Really great paint jobs and great bases/details! Good job!

very well executed figures :), I hesitate from using the word 'nice' as it doesnt seem appropriate given the subject matter.
