Received min this morning, and my first reaction is he's absolutely adorable!

The fiance's grandparents were visiting today, so no time to work on this, but hopefully I'll get a chance to paint it up over the next week (based with mad carew sr's special sand - see the bazaar). Glancing it over, it looks like the right foot might have lost a bit of detail in casting, but the proof is in the painting...

Mine also arrived yesterday, but I only got to open them today... Brilliant. They look even better in the metal than they do in the pictures.
I'll certainly be using and appreciating mine.
Comments? For home castings, they look very good indeed- I have seen home-casts that look like utter cr4p, but this is very good quality.
Thank you!

Hey Silent Invader. My girlfriend just let me know that the figure has arrived in Nottingham. Now I hope it will make it safely to me. :) I'll let you know when it does.

Et voila! My Tamiya Clear Red only arrived this morning, so I might get some experience splashing it on zombies before slapping any on this as I've never used it before...

Anyhoo, some pictures:

I liked this mini a lot, so much so that I was a little overenthusiastic whilst painting and ended up making silly little mistakes that I had to keep going back and mending...

Is the head wound intentional or a miscast? Either way,I think it'll look good with some gore carefully applied...

Overall - lovely job, I like this little guy a lot!

On the side of his head, it may just be a weird bit of hair though... And as I said, he'll get a bit of gore once I build up some confidence, so it works either way...

And if any of those miscasts fall into an envelope...  ;)

Mine arrived today. My girlfriend kept forgetting to send it and I misunderstood here when I thought it was on the way. Oh well. :) Sadly, my time at the moment is very limited, so it will take me till after Easter to paint again.  :'(

Ha! How cool. I like that. Have you tried "equipping" the fallen with weapons and helmets? Would BAM fit sizewise? I've yet to own a BAM miniature. The first ones are on the way.

Beautiful. I like how his form "shines" through the uniform jacket. Very nicely done.

It's what the figure deserves Steve  :D

I forgot to mention its painted as a WW1 Stormtrooper to go with my Army as a pinned marker.
I made the poppies with by carving a piece of plastic sprue & pressed into greenstuff a number of times to make a mould  :D

Hi Steve,

Although it's been a while since I bought a couple of the generic casualty figures from you, I thought I'd post up a couple which I painted during today while snowed in at home.  The figures are wonderful to paint and make great casualty markers, in this case for a World War One trench raiding game.  I shredded the jacket on one using a little green stuff, and added a pack to the other as well as some bits of kit.

Thanks again for sending them  :) ,

Sidney
