Note that there are plenty of people who think that Dunsterville's book, while not outright lying, is extremely misleading. Basically he wrote it to cover his a**. The British army let him go soon afterwards, which suggests strongly that they think he blew it.

The British in Trans-Caspia is a much better campaign in any case, both for BoB and "historical" gaming. A book you might be interested in is:

As to BoB
yes, "Am Arsch der Welt" would be the german "translation", and I also happen to enjoy using it in this context  :D
