Looking for Egyptian digger miniatures
« on: October 06, 2010, 10:53:48 PM »
I will be starting a Chaos in Cairo campaign in the near future(relatively ::))and I'm looking for some Egyptian styled diggers as used by the Archeologists when unearthing the Egyptians Pharaohs tombs in the valley of the kings in the 20's a and 30's.I've searched various miniature companies and really haven't located any.Any help is wholly appreciated.

Thank you,
Christopher

Brigade Games do some in their "The Ends of the Earth" range, and West Wind do a pack, too (somewhere amongst their Gothic Horror range).

That set looks great!  Do you know if they scale well with Foundry historical minis?

Askari has a set as well

Got the brigade figures, it's a great set.  Two diggers, a foreman, Egyptian Professor and a rugged looking American adventurer.

Brigade Games do some in their "The Ends of the Earth" range, and West Wind do a pack, too (somewhere amongst their Gothic Horror range).

I can't say for certain as I haven't seen the diggers, although generally, Askari size up well with most current 28mm miniatures.  Foundry may be a bit smaller, depending on the range.  Probably will be close enough that any difference in size will be less than the variation to be found among real, live people.
