British Tube-2
« on: 10 February 2011, 08:52:39 AM »

I made this steam tank for my British army. Hopefully I will soon be adding actual infantry to the army...  lol

The tank is armed with a novel new technology called a Sonic Reducer. How it works is not known beyond the walls of the Institute of Steam Technology in London.

It also sports a high caliber machinegun in front.

I really like the way that has turned out  :) (the other ones you have done are rather spiffing as well)

cheers

vary nice, you should post up a pick of your whole force when it is done up. What range will provide the infantry?

Very, very nice. ;D
I second the suggestion for a group photo :)

You are fairly turning these out.
Great finish.
We want a group shop.

I will be using the Perry Miniatures Sudan British. They're really nice and the price is too!  (and they've got camels!)

I will do as soon as the weather gets better... I can't fit the bloody behemoths on my photo stand all at once!  lol

But as soon as there's a sunny day I'll drive into the woods and have a photo session in 'Sudan'.  lol

I'll set up a complete battle scene! Just as when one was a wee lad and... wait! I'm not going down that road.

Wow!

That came out really well.

Looking forward to see the infantry.  Unfortunately the Perry Brits don't have spikes on their helmets.   :'(

 :)

Thank you sir!

Now why on Earth would I want spikes on my helmets?  ;)

On the other hand they do have Egyptians, Indians and camels which will all look swell besides my tubes.

Hmm....

So you are telling me that VSF doesn't stand for "Very Stylish Fedora?"   :D

Well, anyway, the Perry mini's will look super with all those strange contraptions you have created.   :)

Looking forward to seeing them!

I like that a lot. Original shape and colour scheme (well, original for VSF at least). Those tracks really are very effective and look quite painless to make. It's a wise move having that MG as back-up, just in case that new-fangled device fails to work.

You know how it is with all this experimental technology  ::)

Another great model! Really enjoying these threads. The paintjob is great too very well suited to the model.
