British Tube-2
« on: 03 February 2011, 03:26:52 PM »
As Tube-1 is getting a paint job work has already started on an improved version of the design.

Still heavily inspired by phallos.

It's a bit wonky, but I don't think there's any reason to be picky. A bit of white glue will stuff it.

The British  High Command is convinced that the design will conquer!

You probably don't need me to tell you that's looking like a fine warmachine you've got there. I really like the way you've done the tracks - simple but effective.

A bit of rivets added and now I'm working on the gun (a twin barrel) and the engine

Engine. I'm adding a pipe at each side

those tracks are great- I don't know why I have never seen that done before. Like red orc said- simple but effective.

I do think it needs a bit more detailing though, because at the momnet, to my mind at least, it looks a bit rude.

Why of course!  :D

I'm adding details in the coming days. I'm not overly worried by the idea of rude appearance though.  lol

In keeping with the Hergérian inspiration I've given it eyes.  lol

The steam engine is coming along nicely too.

And construction on it's little brother Tube-2b is underway

I thought the Prussians looked like they were being neglected so I started doing a small something for them too:

The Kugel Blitz - one of the (perhaps many) Panzerkugeln of the Prussian main land army. It holds up 8 automatons that can be deployed... somehow! And it has two machine guns one at each side.

(the rubber bands are just holding things in place while the glue hardens)
