Belgian artillery colours
« on: 15 July 2008, 01:07:30 PM »
I am adding some artillery and VSF elements to my small Belgian Force Publique force for games in darkest Africa. The force is nominally based on the time period 1890 to 1910.

I want to keep the colour schemes of my force historically accurate (at least for the non-VSF elements), so can someone advise me what colours the Belgians painted their artillery over this period.

Thanks Rudi, you're a star.

So from the pics it looks like naval guns are the usual battleship grey and land guns have a blue-grey carriages with browned barrels.

Now where can I get Cockerill-Nordenfelt and Wahrendorf guns from? ...
