Thanks (and welcome as it is your first post).

That's a most useful review. 8)
Thanks! I've been a Frother for ages, no idea why I haven't landed here before. Time to take back all that lost time.

By-the-by, I was in a party supplies shop today and among the items on sale was a pack of 50 ants, 25 spiders and 25 flys, in black plastic for £1.50.

With a little bit of mutilation (eg, removal of head and attenae) and some tidying up of flash, the ants looked about the right size for 28mm face huggers.  The pack was sealed so I couldn't tell if they were soft or hard plastic.  They didn't have anything in the way of individual detail (just the body carapace plus arched legs) but they certainly had the volume!
My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2025 = 74
(2024 = 38; 2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)

I recently painted up a load of Khurasan's 15mm Aliens. Great minis!

I made a conversion (with copious amounts of greenstuff, some bits and pieces and a smearing of glue) and repaint of a Horrorclix Alien. Here's the before and after:

Nice. Love the mucus-covered pillar. I converted the same Alien, but mine is running! In standing position that miniature gets a low posture which gives a very creepy look to it.
Current projects:
