Nice wolfies mate - I'm green with envy!  ;)

I always loved the background to this scenario - incompetent Elf commander and all!

Looking forward to seeing the pointy eared gits too...

COOL Little Rogues! As a Goblin Guy, I'm looking forward to seeing your progress on this Beasty. The wolves & riders are BEAUTIFULLY DONE!

Yes, love the colour choices!  Especially those old school pinks against the greens.
Must resist the temptation to go buy wolfies now!

Nice one.

Hi Erny, saw these on your blog along with all those cool dwarfs (are all the shields on the dwarfs all hand painted?) Just awesome painting. I really like the old school painting of the gobbo lips pink/red; takes me back. Not to forget the bases look really nice too!

Thanks guys...

I took a chance with the pink lips, always thought it look a bit silly as a kid but now I think they look just perfect. I have another ten to do for the senario though I'm planning on using the old 80's marauder ones for Erny's Roamers (recognise the name anyone?) but I may use my remaining citadel lads, choices, choices.

The Dwarven shields are the molded shields that came with the fantasy regiments pack so sorry to disapoint you Damien, shows how I have progressed though cause those shields look quite rough to me now. Glad you like the bases, a bit more effort makes all the difference so I'll be trying hared with the bases from now on.

Lovely little wolf riders and good inspiration too! I picked up ten of those wolves (no riders) for use in my undead army, so it's good to see some painted examples 8)

Are the wolves Citadel or marauder? Love to have some for my LOTR!

Wolves must be Citadel, Marauder would be much bigger.

Great unit, Erny. Really like them!

Wolves are citadel, as are the gobbos. Marauder did a range of wolf riders and Orc wolf chariots before bringing out the giant plastic ones so some equally sized marauder ones are to come.

I have an undead army wolf unit of the marauder ones Phil, they look great lead by the giant wolf from the monsters starter set..

That is a great unit.  The colors on the gobos contrast well with their green skin.  Nice job on the bases as well.  I especially like the mouths on the wolves, great detail.
