why is the .30 machine gun not a strafe weapon? I know you can fix with house rules but just curious
and it says in the book that all humans are subject to psychology and all humanoids are not subject to psychology but what about undead and daemons and beasts?

I think that beasts are too unaware of "psychology" factors in the sense humans are aware of them, Undead have rotten brains and don't care and Daemons would laugh at anything a human might threaten them with

The range was the real reason it does not have strafe, combined with the damage it would be to crazy with strafe as well. As far as Psychology, you are correct, only Humans suffer the effects...and Beasts suffer psychology in regards to Fire weapons.

I always imagined the 30cal as: the gun is bulky/heavy/awkward; So much so that it requires 2 men to wield it, so although it has superior range and rate of fire, it can't strafe.

Undead, Daemons and Beasts are not affected by psycology. (Except Beats with Fire as Uncle Mike already mentioned)

The rules Beast psychology appear in Shocking Tales #1, page 7 under the heading 'Fire' in the 'Special Weapons Rules'...hope that helps...also, affects Animals...not many of those yet so, no big deal...
