Imperial Guard Test Piece
« on: 17 April 2011, 05:36:13 PM »
I have a small army of horizon blue IG (WW1 French inspired choice of colour) but decided I want something more sinister looking. Here the test piece done this afternoon. The colours scheme doesn't really stand out, guess I have to think and try a little more.
Comments are welcome.

There seems to be something wrong with our bloody ships today...turn two points to port.

Looks nice and dirty, but could do with some more definition. I may be set in my ways, but I like how Cadians usually match the torso armour colour to the helmet. So maybe paint that one black, similar to the old Necromunda regiments from Rogue Trader times.

Maybe some regimental, rank markings, squad/company markings or graffiti on the helmet and body armour would help?
