Napoleonic Austrians
« on: 07 April 2011, 03:58:32 AM »
So I have started painting up an Austrian Avante Gaurde division fo use in Lasalle and Blackpowder to knock heads with one of my old friends Frenchies.
Here are some pics of my first unit, a 36 man battalion from IR13.

Here is their Zimmerman, he is a marker in the game to show engineering activity is going on.

So that's the start of things.  C&C is always welcome!

Very good,enjoyed the pics.
The Victorian Outpost

Its a new gaming place in Grimsby with new terrain and new scenery, lots of respect for all wargamers and is the best place to game in town.

Anybody who wishes to visit the venue to arrange a game then  just pm me and lets roll those dice.

Lovely! As a life-long Austrophile I applaud your choice of armies. I'm reading Gill's trilogy on 1809 right now and think I will dive into a Lasalle Austrian force myself once the new Blue Moon 15mm figures roll out.

@Nevermore:  Thanks!  Still learning how to take pics of minis, but things are getting better.
@CDM:  Thank you.  Yeah mentioning manufacturer is a good idea.  These figs are all from Sash and Sabre.  They are beautiful castings, very clean and detailed.  They can run a little small compared to other manufacturers so are best in their own units.
@Aaron:  I am anxious to see the new Blue Moon 15s when they are released as well.  Blue Moon is claiming a very comprehensive line to be on the way should be fun based on some of their other work.
