Looking for a Miniature Transport Solution

I have two drawer organizers for my 15mm miniature collection:

However, these are far from ideal for carrying minis around, as they are rickety and the minis are loose in them.

So what I'm looking for are storage trays plus foam such as discussed HERE, or any similar cheap but sturdy way to carry my minis around.

Suggestions would be appreciated!

One note: I need either something which is available for purchase here in Israel, or which could be ordered here from an international site. My budget is quite tight so I'm looking for something cheap and effective.

Thanks for the link! Looks VERY promising, though a bit pricey... I'll have to save money for this if I'll select this option.

I use a tray "system" sold by a very nice fellow at US wargaming shows, but I have since discovered that the trays are simply salesmen's display trays from any jewelry supply shop. They come in varying depths to accomodate infantry, cavalry, etc., are stackable, cheap, and best of all they make cheap cases to transport them. I'm linking to a distributor in the states so you can see what I mean, but I'm sure any jeweler in isreal could point you in the right direction for something similar.

I have all of my figures on plastic bases so I just put sheet magnet in the bottom of my cases. The company that sells them in the states (Dave's Baggage Train) also sell foam inserts for their trays, but I'm sure you can find something that would work.

Magnetic plastic, that's a new one to me 

But i was going to suggest similar. either base your figs on (ferro-) metal and transport on magnetic strips
or glue magnetic sheet under your bases and transport in a metal toolbox. 
I did it in the past with 28mm figs, worked rather well, but heavy shocks could still toos your figs around.
with 15mm that shouldn't be such a problem.

best solution is mentioned before : K&R or feldherr (I got a big bag of them and the good thing is the trays are approx. the same size as K&R)

This is what I use now.

It is a gun case with three pieces of foam, so it holds two layers of miniatures.  Works great, costs about $10.00 and you can cut the foam to fit.  Two of the sheets of foam are the egg carton cut and the third one is flat with a grid cut into the surface.  If you are interested just contact Plano.  http://www.planomolding.com/hunting/hunting-products/

For 15mm, I use Really Useful 4 litre boxes (from Staples at about £5 each) lined with magnetic sheet and the figures have steel paper under the bases. I get both the magnetic sheet and the steel paper from a company called Magnetic Displays.

This approach keeps your figures dust-free, is fairly secure (though I wouldn't suggest dropping the boxes) and is easy to store and transport.

You can also get an organiser tray that fits in the top of the boxes as seen in the bottom of the photo above.

Works OK for heavier stuff like vehicles too.

Yeah...I'm an idiot.  I use steel basing.
