My completed (almost) BoB army
« on: 02 July 2011, 08:43:27 PM »
I've finally finished my oil expedition (dinosaur hunter) army for the club Back of Beyond campaign  :D

Huzzah!

I've scratchbuilt two improvised armoured cars, converted or adapted four diecast trucks, built a Copplestone Garford Putilov, painted up a DH2 aircraft and finished off with a unit of Russian mercenaries and the expedition oil prospecting team as well (I've posted my progress with all of these on my blog over the last two months or so)

Please drop in and have a look  ::)

Cheers

Jim

That is excellent.  I love the combination of civilian and military figures.  Indiana Jones would be proud.  Hope you have a lot of fun with our army.

Really great paintjob. I especially like the "civilian" HMG gunner a simple, yet effective conversion.

A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

Those are some lovely miniatures! They look more than ready to shoot anything that stands between them and their precious black gold.

I like the bases. It is a clean job !
It seems to be foundry colours.

What do you use for them (likto bases, colour ?) and for the grass?
