Anyone make Saminites?
« on: 09 August 2011, 01:35:38 AM »
in 28mm :D
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

A & A have a range sculpted by Mark Sims :

Once he started Crusader, Mark proceeded to do a completely new range of early Italian warriors :

Redoubt have a range as well :

I haven't checked out but I suspect Old Glory must have a pack or two as well. If you can afford to wait for a while, Aventine will also release some Samnites to complement their Pyrrhic and Republican Roman ranges. Given Aventine's very high standards, these should be pretty damn fine figures.

I have the Crusader stuff at home and it is very good. I'm working on some Aventine Etruscans and Hill Tribes at the moment and I think the two ranges blend seamlessly.
