HURRAH! 28mm Russians - June 1941
« on: 04 October 2011, 02:58:17 PM »
And now some picts from my russian 28mm figures. Also shot at my "Garden Wargaming Weekend" ...

Russian tank crew must leave their tank and wait for help ...

... "the help" comes with heavy weapon support and infantry leading by their commisars.

Hmm-m ...
A colleague, a wonderful job. Terrane and the coloring of the figures at a high level.

But if we approach the question of the historical accuracy - the mass of blunders.
First of all - the Red Army in 1941, there was no shoulder strap (right up to 1943)
Secondly - the war the main weapon of the Soviet infantry rifle was. Do your soldiers are too many submachine guns.
Third - even in Russia in the summer in winter hat with earflaps not go. Will be very hot  ;)

These figures are well suited to the period of the storming of Berlin.
