Anyone seen Audrey?
« on: 18 November 2011, 06:54:56 PM »
As the header says, I know a few folks on here knew her. I am trying to figure out rules for a game based on the Monster Hunter International series of books by Larry Correia. Her rules would have been perfect as the books feature werewolves, vampires, zombies ( human and animal), wights, necromancers, cultists,Shoggoths, demons, gargoyles, and etc as well as real world arms. BTW anyone know of a 28mm Stig model? If anyone can contact her, I would love to speak with her about her rulse she was workingon. Thanks all.

Her former Blog www.13threalm.com/blog/ is not available anymore, it originally got me started into combining WWG terrain with foamcore. A few months ago I checked back and she blogged about her Roller Hockey (?) hobby, with no new gaming stuff coming up, and after some time it went offline. That's all I know ;)

Edit: An even older site seems to be http://oubliette.tranquility-base.us/ in case you didn't know.

Thanks Cherno. I have been checking both. Sorry to see her go, the rules she was working on sounded very promising.

As I've had the experience of assuming an Andrea was a female, I wondered that a bit myself.

So I did a some wayback, and it appears she's paled on the simulated conflict and has gone on to roller derby. Sounds to be a bit of a fanatic.

Yeah last I heard she was really big into the North Carolina Roller derby seen.

You could adapt Fear and Faith to almost anything.
He that trades Liberty for Security will soon find that he has neither.

hmmm, may have to look into Fear and Faith. Tried playing Occult Wars with some friends...not our favorite system.

Since you are already adapting...   Crooked dice's 7ombie covers zombies, and I had been adapted it more some of the other monsters already (Vampires, weres etc).  My adaptations are found on their forum, just search for Creature Feature and it may also give you a sense of the system.

Or if you wait you can use the up coming Two hour Wargames offering After the Horsemen. While it is supposed to be a Post Apocalypse setting I imagine that stuff from the short lived All Things Horror (which was pulled due to how close the similarities to Monster hunters International, in the game you could play your character as a Monster Hunter and hunt down the various monsters).

If you dont want to wait then possibly THW's game 5150 (while a Sci-Fi setting it can be used) combined with All Things Zombie should also work.

The nice thing about the THW games utilizing the Chain Reaction system is that you can mix and match the rules as you see fit.
