Mutant/Monster Horses
« on: November 21, 2011, 11:23:34 AM »
Just getting back into 2000AD and I want to get some mutie horsemen for the Slayriders. Are there any ranges of 4 legged monstrous mounts? Something that is horse shape/size but with a badgers head or a lizard?

The best mutant steeds were the old Gorkamorka ones from GW. Maybe have a gander on ebay?

Nice but pricey. Wanted about 10 in total. I did think about using Chaos marauder horsemen as a base

I thought about these:

I think they look like the gorkamorka ones a bit. Ironwind is selling them.

Ral partha used to sell them without the rider but unfortunately they stoped.
And right now, they can t be sold without the rider and are rather pricey, 15$ for one.
Here you can see my stuffs!!!

They are far from done, but I'm using the plastic marauder horses.  I only used the heads that had head gear, blended the head gear into the head, shaved away the mane, ears, and tail, then attached the tail of a lizardman(cut it off the lizardman at an angle so you go a little up the back).  I also plan to put some crests or spines on the necks, maybe from plastic khorne demons.  Still alot of GS work to do, but they are really starting to look the part.

It's part of a combined Mutie/Scavvie/mutant horde I'm working on.
All my best ideas are someone elses
