playmobil container ship part 4

work on this project has gatered pace quite a bit lately as i am now trying to do my own modeling on weekends instead of the s&s stuff.
as i do tend to work quite quickly i have gotten quite a bit done this and last weekend, so much so that it is almost finnished.


the bridge has been sprayed gloss white and the windows painted matt black and the railings have been fitted, to the bow and stern,


life boats and thier davits have now been fitted,


and the 2 life raft containers have been fitted to the bows and 6 life belts have also been fitted around the superstructure,

funnel has been painted red, with  black inside,

i was quite pleased that i mananged to get a paint very close to the original grey for the decks,

although  it needs a second coat,




the jobs need to finnish it off are the mast and radar, a deck second coat, a few containers and then the fun begins with the rusty weathering.
i may leave that for a few weeks and experiment on some other models first.
