www2 15mm....
« on: 25 November 2011, 12:14:21 AM »
After searching and reading like a million topics, reviews and whatnot I can't really find what I want. To put it simple: a 15mm www2 skirmish ruleset with one mini per base, tanks, zombies, monsters, mechas and so on. Like Sotr if you like but in 15mm. Anyone who have tried to play Sotr in 15mm? And if so, what changes to the rules where required? Or do you have any other options? I'm living in a small apartment and don't have any gaming club nearby, so I want to shrink my need for big storage and gaming table, and of course the wallet won't shrink as much...

Going by the suggestions in Super System, to go from 28mm to 15mm, replace the word "Inches" with "Centimeters" and things should work out ok. Haven't tried it myself, everything I own is 28mm or 1/200.

Honestly, IMO every 28mm ruleset can be played with individually based 15mm minis.
The weapon ranges will look even more realistic.  ;)

If you want it smaller use cm instaed of inches - thats it!

The real challemnge appears when converting individual based rulesystem to FoW multibased minis...
cheers and keep on gaming, Agis - https://www.adpublishing.de

hmm... I was thinking this morning and thought, couldn't you just divide a 28mm ruleset by half since 15mm is almost half of 28 and get somewhat appropriate measures?

Absolutely - very similar to the cm approach...
