28mm Italian Armor
« on: 04 March 2012, 12:27:41 AM »
Hey guys and gals
I know Company B do a L60 light tank and AGN do a M13/40 and Semovente 75 but did I see someone else doing a M13?

Another question is do the AGN models still have bases molded on or did they do away with them?

Thanks Pete

If you do 1/48 rather than 1/56 then Quarter Kit have a few pieces. Vet nice kits but not cheap!

Most do. There are a few that are non-based but not many.

I guess I'll have to contact  AGN to see if those models have bases or not then.

@John Hollyoak  I do use 1/48(Tamiya and Bandai) and 1/50(Corgi and PMD) for a lot of tanks.
I  have  a few  of Quarter Kit's models. In fact I just got done the E100 that has been sitting for 2 years unbuilt.I would rather sit in a ant hill with jam on my arse  than ever build another resin model from Quarter Kit.Lovely when you get them done but what a PITA.

Really? I just put a couple of their modern vehicles together and nothing could have been easier. Glorious looking pieces of kit too.

We don't have an M13, but we do have  the M11.  Regardless of which you buy, you can also use our tank crews as and Lancia 3RO to haul them around  :)

The largest Quarter-kit model I built was the Moser Karl.  Talk about a big kit...  Nice though, all the road wheels were turned brass.

Cheers,
Brent

Hi Pete
I'll pass on the ants and jam but I know what you mean. I have a T70 nearly finished - just the nightmare of the tracks to go. I am sure it will look great when (if!) I get it done.
