The Battleforg halflings are massive and wouldn't really fit size or style wise with Citadel halflings which are quite small. If you want some readily available halfling spearmen then these guys from Black Hat miniatures blackhat.co.uk/ below are proabably your best bet although a tad bigger than the Citdadel ones, they also have some sword men and slingers.

Manufacturers which fit in best with the old Citadel minis are the old Harlaquin halfling archers available from black tree designs and Heresy and Hasselfree from characters. However if you mean the newer GW Empire themed halflings they are much bigger and chunker and would fit in with most halfling makes. I have a links to almost all of the halfling manufacturers on my blog. Warploque miniatures halflings are also worth checking out too.

I got my Copplestone halflings directly from the man himself - just email him. Not the cheapest, but I do like them. Some of his other sculpts are still available from em4, I think.

Here's how little I've managed on them so far:

Your halflings look excellent and he lil conversions on the shields really work. I have a number of the EM4 halflings but the heads on the orginals are much more characterful so thanks for the tip of on getting them directly from Mark.

 :)

Thanks Hubbynz. I'm glad you approve because it's all your blog's fault that I picked them up in the first place  lol

Thats an interesting idea as well.  If it wasn't to far fetched putting some on the arachanak or whatever you call would be kind of cool too.  I am still going to stick with the Halloween theme, but switching it to evil halflings right now.  Will keep everyone posted on the progress.  With the Halloween them I had to go evil, especially with anew copy of realm of chaos on the way from good ol' ebay.

If you are looking for evil halflings try Impact miniatures deadlings

Here is an evil halfling warband I made up from various manufacturers.....sorry about the shameless self plugging here  lol

Once it's funny that you mention the old grenadier giant as I have actually considered utilising him to carry a halfling pirate ship into battle.

No problem on the self plugging Hubbynz.  All ideas are welcome.  I had seen those on your blog, that's what got the ball rolling on this project. I love the Empire and it's halfling friends, but whispers of chaos keep calling to me. =)

Most of those halfmen are the same sculpts as the em4 figures, but the spearmen and feather-bedecked figures, as well as the chariot are new to me.
