I know for LAF this is where samurai discussion goes but I was wondering if there is a forum out there with dedicated samurai discussion? Also where would information on Ronin be most widely discussed?

That is no fun. 

It looks interesting though I was thinking more miniatures centric. I can do most of the historical research side myself but wanted to see what sort of discussions about the upcoming Ronin rules there are and read/look at some AAR of samurai games.

It seems to be an unfortunate universal constant that regardless of the subject matter some forums are full of people that will not accept any ideas other than the ones they subscribe to and they seem to think it's necessary to treat anyone who doesn't agree with them as worse than excrement. I don't get it. That's just the way some people are I suppose. It makes me appreciate the LAF and the people here all the more!

Well, there's always PMT but you might be better off here  

I can't think of anywhere 'bigger' than here apart from possibly figure range specific forums (such as the Wargames Factory one) and the fantasy oriental ones like Bushido
