How to build a barrow?

Any hints and tips as to how to go about making a burial barrow? I remember one in white dwarf a few years back but lost the magazine, any help would be great! Cheers

Are you meaning the interior to one as well or just the exterior?

make a rough circular drystone wall with a large gap in it for an entrance. Block with a large flat stone if required. Make a mound out of polystyrene to cover it and glue down if you don't want to make an interior. Decorate.

Not particularly accurate for historical burials, but it'll look good enough for fantasy.

I've done a few Barrows of various sizes using floral foam (the type with all the little holes) rings/wreaths. I cut a earth roof out of insulation foam (usually) or use a floral foam circle. Once I've finished shaping the Beasty, I fill the holes with Woodland Scenic Foam Putty & carve in stonework & whatever.
