The ancient barrow
« on: March 24, 2012, 11:33:46 PM »
Something that I could use as a backdrop for any British setting or  my Conan project.  A barrow, based on Waylands Smithy in Ashbury, as discussed here http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=38182.0

Gods, monsters and men,
Will die together in the end.

Lol, a very romantic view of the traditional British setting!!!

Nice piece of scenery, but AFAIK, there is nothing like this in the UK. (Except in Ashbury, of course).

Yeah, fair enough.  I shouldn't have said "any" British setting.  Are there not more barrows such as this one?

I wouldn't worry too much. Even if any barrows like that existed, it is possible they could have been buried over time, built on top of, or eroded into oblivion by the awful English weather ;)

Don't worry about it mate, it's awesome scenery and as long as you don't have a crusty old British person in your gaming group, you should be fine.  ;D
