Aha! I guessed it might be those ceiling tiles. Nice to see that they work well for this!

Thanks for the info on construction.
Cake stand, eh...?
Hmmmm...

The miniatures themselves are equally well done.

Nervous Nelly comment: Be careful, as some old tiles have asbestos; tiles are relatively stable, but cutting can raise some nasty dust.

Having a lady of the house who loves crafts can be useful, as most such stores have a feminine atmosphere. 'Just here with the lady...'; I'm oft checking out the wedding cake items for ionic columns of various height.

The miniatures themselves are equally well done.

*ahem* Ah, yes, quite so...

Embarrassed to have to be reminded to say how taken I am with them.  ::)

That's outstanding work. Absolutely fantastic.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

Apart from that filmed in Cardiff - yes!

The BBC holy grail is to find a disused quarry in Cardiff, and thereby cut costs by keeping all production in one location.

Give us an after action report please, and tell us you are taking it to a show too?
