I wanted to make a terrain board to go with 'Crooked Dice' Blakes 7 range of figures.
I have set it in a BBC quarry (also heavily used in Doctor Who), with a small Federation base. I tried to get a 1970s feel to the board.

That's excellent.

Perfectly in keeping with the original series. Nice use of the large dome too.

This is truly amazing. Can you take some pictures of it with miniatures on it? I'd love to see the whole effect. Also, how did you build it?

Tell me, did you keep the budget down at rock bottom? I remember Paul Darrow doing an interview where he said the BBC spent more money on some of Bruce Forsyth's toupes than they had onentire seasons of Blake's 7!

Very nice, but shouldn't anything sci-fi from the Beeb look like it was filmed in a disused quarry?
