Very good painting and photography!

I've always had a soft-spot for Foundry Napoleonic Russians and they really do repay careful painting, and, basing.

You can never have too many so I encourage you to buy some more!

Reckon that they would also be entirely compatible with Perry's own range of Russians as their later Foundry Russian infantry sculpts were both taller and finer than some of their earlier/other Foundry ranges.

Cheers,

Paul

@ PAULSPENCE
I already have bought some of the new Perry Russians. As you mentioned the Foundry one's are already taller so this is no problem. And as the Perrys aren't too consistent about tallness in their own ranges I don't worry about that at all ;)

@ Phil Robinson
I know, I know, there is some french lead in the pile and a few figures are already painted but at the moment my output is very, very low. I'll be glad when I got the stuff done that we need for our participation game at Tactica '13 o_o

I'm sure Tellus will along shortly, to share what paints he used in his collection.

As a point of comparision, I have also painted up a large number of Foundry Russians (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=32039.0), and painted them chiefly with the Wargames Foundry 'Napoleonic' range of paints.  You might want to have a look, and see if they are for you.

@ Slekke
Well, mainly I used Foundry Colors so I don't know if telling you the codes would help you a lot. Especially for the green uniforms I used at least 3 different dark greens as there had been a couple of years in between painting the different units. So if you're still interested specific colors I've used feel free to ask.

On the other hand I don't care too much about trying to be spot on with the colors, I use the ones that look best to me.

After my Peninsula British/Spanish/Portuguese are done I was thinking Russians as my next Napoleonic project.  Thanks for posting that Russki inspiration.
