Slaughterbowl gaming field.
« on: 12 May 2013, 05:23:25 AM »
I've started (well a bit more than started) to make a field for the game scurv and I created for his miniatures. It's basically a car park and a road. It could do with a lot more weathering to make it look a bit more desolate. But I may keep it like this as my son loves it already for his cars. It looks quite generic because the premise of the game is that you can put your own terrain on the board to create a game that requires a bit more lateral thinking.
I plan on making some busted fences to go on it and the containers I've made will look quite good in their too.

Made out of mdf, sawdust for the road and sand for the asphalt. It's only cost me about $6 to make all up as the sawdust was free and the sand pilfered from the beach :) it measures 18" by 24" quite a manageable size.

A pretty (well, cool looking) start. Look forward to the rest of the terrain.
