Yeah, I reckon. Khaki is such an annoyingly vague term, as it can mean so many different things. In my work we use a military cloth that is called "khaki", and it is a sort of dark forest green colour. The cloth that is somewhere near what I would call khaki is called "stone."  ;D

For these guys I would go for a light sandy colour. The author I referred to actually uses the word "sand" to describe the uniform colour.




(Of course, sand comes in all kinds of colours too....)

Light sandy then... I was thinking about going to the "stone side" of the palette. I have other 30 figures to paint, so no problem!  :)
