Afghan town, urns and awnings
« on: 30 June 2013, 11:22:27 PM »
I've finally got around to making something this year. Eventually this will expand into all the buildings and accessories to make an Afghan town to accompany my compounds but for now just the basic buildings are done.

Details are here: http://www.matakishi.com/afghanbuildings.htm
Additions will follow starting with some shops and awnings.

Good to see you back Paul  :)

Ditto!
It has been too long.
Still getting top results, though.
 :-* :-* :-*

Great timing as well, as I need to build something very similar later in the year so your tutorial will be perfect for my intentions.
A feel a little pilfering of ideas coming on.

Slow but steady at the moment but the summer holidays are coming up so I hope to get fully back into the swing of things by then.
My Summer project should be Osama's compound, it's been simmering for a while.

I'm currently adding to my collection, so this is giving me a few little ideas while I build and watch le Tour. Also, thanks for the multiple instances of inspiration over the years matakishi. You make wargaming look like fun (as it should be).

Excellent work - that blue goes so well with the walls (I'm using it too on my builds).
