« on: 15 March 2012, 08:31:20 AM »
Hi everyone,

A friend asked me to paint some Caesar miniatures for his games. These are the first ones.

Cheers

Nice work on those.  I'm just prepping some of those same figures right now.  They're quick to paint up and a lot of fun.

Is the wizard with the serpent staff a head swap conversion?  Or did Caesar make two versions of that figure?  The one I have has a horned skull mask.

Great! I admit I've never thought about using 1/72 for rpg. But these are pretty cool...

Thanks.

It is a conversion. You can find more details here.

Very cool.  Your link to the head swap technique is a good tip, too.

Thank you guys. I really appreciate your comments.  :)

Love your paintwork. I dont think the figures deserve that much attention but over all a stunning result.

Well, is not like painting 28mm, yes... but they have enough detail to make they look pretty fine at the end.

Some more. These are some Caesar goblins painted as demons.

Oh, that's a good idea, too.  I don't much like those as a goblins, but they do work pretty well as demons or imps.

Awesome painting. I respectfully disagree with Scurv; I think the figures look great given the scale and material (assuming they are soft plastic).

Well... I'm not sure. I think he uses Stormbringer rules.
