I've just put a couple of painted black scorpion Apaches on evilbay and they are slightly taller than the Majors. But I'm 6ft 4 and the wife is 5ft, so it is possible to get along together ( I think ? ).  Anyway the new Apaches and cavalry are great figures to paint, and being slightly bigger is better for your eyes anyway .  THE CID  lol

You've figured out why I truly use Black Scorpion minis!  :D

Lots of dusters, and large simple details!

Thanks a lot for the comparison pictures  Deedles.
They are very instructive and revealing.
Oniria Miniatures beign taller are smaller (check the size of the heads, and thickness of the bdoy, legs, etc..)
I think the main difference is really the sculpting style rather than the extra mm.

No problem.. Your figures are wonderful sculpts. I am looking forward to painting them. I may just be able to get away with the tall thin stranger for gaming..

  • Most of what I say is lost in translation.
I am looking at The Tranquility Crew from the Blackwater Gulch game but it says the figures are 30mm does anyone have them or any of the figures from Blackwater Gulch? How do they compare to your average 28mm figures?

Very good comparison.
I'm glad that some of you finally agree that Artizan and BlackScorpion mix quite well.
