Thank you guys for the support!  :)
As said this is a troubled period. Damned RL! BTW we are still working on the project. Actually we have almost finished the floor carving. We need to finish the central island...After that I'll take some decent pics of the entire carved surface :)

Shoot!

Here it is:

uh uh! pretty cool and very effective Ale  :o Interesting!

There's some nice ideas for bridges on the table in Midismirnoff's link. Deffo Fabers board is going to be better though!

i agree! it depends on the buildings, though!

Thank you Andy and Jack, you are too kind. I hope my table will be more detailed than that one. :)
About buildings...we are pretty far from seriously projecting buildings... a lot of stuff to do before :'(

Chop chop Faber! Back to work you lazy monkey *cracks whip*... we want more updates of your beutiful table, and we demand it now! Its summer time and you students should be working hard on you... eh... wargaming tables! :D

 lol
you are right! But, this is my last summer as a student and so not a relaxing one. Tomorrow I'm going to do my last exam and on November (hope) I'll obtain my f@%^#*g degree in law. :)
This means that I've really a few moments to work with Calopide (who has almost my same matters) on this project... :(
Thanks for the support pal, really appreciated

This is amazing!! can't wait to see more.

Mac

Thanks Mac. You'll se more...maybe not soon, but you'll see more. :)

Naturally, your studies comes first, however, our wellbeing is also important, perhaps not as important as getting a degree in law, but still... hehe. So, when ever you have time, take those pictures, I am waiting eagerly to see them, and I know that so are many others!

Keep up the good work, and keep studying hard!

Excellent work so far. I understand how real life has to take priority at times. I look forward to when this project takes off again - because this table is shaping up to be an artwork.

Just want to add my voice to the chorus-great stuff here! I'm very inspired.  Thanks for sharing what you've done so far, but I can't help but wonder if there's any more forthcoming?

Allright guys, I just found this thread. I am an impatient sort. Should have waited for the finish. Where is it?

Everything looks awesome. You guys do fantastic work. I have always been too impatient to do all the carving in the foam. Gonna have to actually take the time to do some, hoping it will come out looking even half as good as what I've seen here.

Back to work!
