BTW, they look damn good because even if I have never seen Ripper Street I would easily see these figures on the table as "forces for law and order" types.  Criminal master-minds beware!

And thanks for coming! We need to do it again sometime. I know we are talking about doing a The Sword and the Flame in 15mm game next month, if you want I can let you know the date when we figure one out.

Craig,

I do similar but use a washer.  When i build up the base I try to sculpt an appropriate style: wood floor for my Huckster/Riverboat Gambler, cobblestones for the street denizens, etc.

I intentionally leave the lead/tin/alloy on to use as an anchor under the green stuff

I've been buying bulk resin bases with cobblestone patterns and pinning my various miniatures to them.  I've been rebasing my older minis as well - as over time I've used different sized bases for them and now I want them all to have a degree of commonality.
