Here are some German Zombies snagged from Reapercon.

I can't wait for these guys to come out.  :-*

From what I understand they are on the 28 heroic mm scale. ::)

I think WK is thinkining the same as me - If those are 25mm round bases, then the figures must be 40mm  - if they are 20mm round bases, then the figures are 35mm

Indeed. Either way, they look way too big to fit with 28mm ranges, so they might either go with 1/48th and project X stuff or with Graven Images 40mm depending on how big they really are.

Darn if they overshoot the 28 mm range  :(  I was really looking forward to these, but I'll stick to 28 mm - I have far too many 28 mm figs to start off into a new scale....
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

If you're going to lift photos from another person's post on another site can you at least credit them and post a link?

These are originally from the Reaper forums

Saw them in person at Reaper Con and they look the same size as their other lines.

If they're shooting guns they sure aren't your traditional zombies.

As to scale, experience has taught me to be cynical when it comes to Reaper and consistency.

Still I suspect I'll buy them in droves.

I guess these are more like reanimated dead that are controllable so they can use weapons and other stuff.  The game also has your normal brain eaters but they are used more like screening troops.  I guess the German are also able to possess their vehicles with evil spirits or something like that so their vehicles are crew less.

I wanted to play but 2 Reaper employees decided to play instead so I just read through their Alpha Rules.  Moves and plays fast and feels 40Kish to me.  Had some interesting rules though and the GM told me that this is a very early Alpha so things could change fast.

Most rememberable thing was the US fitted a flail to their Sherman like the funnies on D-Day and where using it as an anti-infantry device.  What didn't settle with me was that the tank was able to fire it's cannon through it.  Now that's weird!

Must be like those WWI planes where the machinegun had to be adjusted to shoot through the propeller  ;) (I'm not sure I spelled that right...?)

Mark, the fellow who took the original shots, took some comparison photos against some AE-WWII minis as well as a Tamiya 1:48 scale fig
