Help with a model

Hi guys

My other half has said she wants to try paint a model.  Bingo who knows I may even get her playing games eventually.

She says she wants a female steampunk character to try. 

I've googled around but my brain has gone blank and not finding anything.  Said to her I'll pick her something up at Salute.

Anyone any suggestions or recommendations?

although Steampunk is now what I would let a beginner start with....
unless Your better half is a pro in dental care or jewelry
too many small details...

lead adventure minis paint quite easily , some EOTD too ...

Ironclad Miniatures and Reaper (Chronoscope Range) do female characters as do Micro-Art Studios.  They are not cheap albeit the period is popular, it's still a niche market.  I believe that Ironclad and Micro-Art will be at Salute.

Just remembered that Black Cat do some too.
