Going online for pre order on Saturday, prior to general release at Sheffield Triples on the 17th of May, Under Fire Miniatures is proud to release four packs of Grey's Scouts mounted infantry for Rhodesian Bush War games and four new packs to go with the existing pack of Rhodesian African Rifles. Enjoy....

Greys Scouts Pack 1 : Two figures mounted on stationary horses

They are armed with a FN-FAL(Hvy Barrel) & FN-FAL respectively.

Greys Scouts Pack 2 : Two figures mounted on walking horses

They are armed with a Shotgun & FN-FAL respectively.

Greys Scout Pack 3 : Two figures mounted on trotting/cantering horses

They are both armed with FN-FALs.

Greys Scouts Pack 4 : Two figures mounted on galloping horses

They are armed with an FN-FAL & FN-FAL(Hvy Barrel) respectively.

Not forgetting the infantry of the Rhodesian African Rifles...

R.A.R. Pack 2 : Command

Contains European Officer, Askari SNCO & Askari scout & gunner.

R.A.R Pack 3 : Scout

Contains 2 x Askari scouts, a rifleman & a gunner.

R.A.R. Pack 4 : Engage the Enemy !

Contains a European officer directing fire, 2 x Askari riflemen & an Askari gunner putting rounds downrange as directed.

R.A.R. Pack 5 : Tank Hunter

Contains an Askari kneeling/firing an RPG-7, whilst protected by 3 other Askari riflemen, who are armed with FN-FALs.

I can't tell you how absurdly proud I am of these figures. They were sculpted by T.Boustead & are scaled for 20mm & will be cast in white metal. I will be happy to answer any questions people may have.

Just to reiterate the packs will be available for pre order from Saturday afternoon (03/05/2014), with general release on the 17/05/2014 @ Sheffield Triples.

P.S. There will also be a 12th pack of 2010 Helmand Brits going on sale to, along with a remouded set of Israeli 1.

Thank you sir. They've been a labour of love for me and one of the three 'Holy Grails' I've been wanting to commission since I started Under Fire Miniatures. The other two are armed police (done) & B.A.O.R. (up next)...

Love is the enduring quality behind all that is good. And these miniatures clearly show that. Kudos to you. There's no chance i gues that you will do the beautifull SOG team miniatures in 28mm?
(Do not look at me that way people of LAF. I know the guy is very busy but i only asked him. I mean it's only a couple of 28mm minis. How much work can that be?-)

You'd be suprised ! :D

However, in all seriousness Empress Miniatures will be your best bet for 28mm figures.

Maybe a daft question, but from someone who has never tried painting a horse, is the rider a separate piece?

Horse and rider are separate pieces Ash. The horse does have the tack, saddle & baggage moulded on though.
