Painting Plastic
« on: 28 May 2014, 03:06:36 PM »
I am painting my first ever plastic figures since the packets of Airfix 42 in a box at 2/6d. Is it just my imagination or does the paint take longer to dry on a hard plastic figure?

Im assuming your using Acrylics on styrene - Hard plastic, not Polythene - high pressure soft plastic.

Either way no time difference at all.  Its the drying - evaporation of the liquid medium of the paint and the temperature of the room.
