Another Model T conversion
« on: 11 September 2008, 06:50:12 AM »
Just had to post this.  One of the gamers from our area and local group converted one of our new Model T trucks.  All new stowage in green stuff putty, canopies, and alternate wheels from our other kits.

I'll need to have him enter in into our upcoming contest...

Very nice.  I especially like the dual rear wheels, strangely enough.

And I keep checking for that contest to begin.  What's the hold-up?  I assume you know your list of bits in the contest preview page isn't working, right?

I just got the October copy of National Geographic and on the last page is a very unique conversion of what I think is a model T. It is a mobile chapel complete with stained glass windows and even a steeple. This one was used in the rural US, but just imagine the scenarios that could be built around one of these being driven around the back of beyond by some zealous missionaries!

Talking about model T - are there any reasonably priced models for 28mm scale around? Been looking for some, never had any luck in the local hobby stores...
