Some new 28mm orcs available
« on: August 09, 2014, 07:58:57 AM »
The first of my new Orc range are available through my website, designed to mix in with another well known brand or be a stand alone range, take a peek.
Also on my kickstarter where they are at a discount price as it is helping to expand the range.

Nice to see them cast up.

Never been a fan of saying "in the whatever style" when describing models. Just invites criticism and the viewer will make up their own mind anyway.

Any chance we can get a size comparison with a classic and modern orc? Any painted examples yet?

Hi Guys. Don't own any other Orcs but going around buddies house tomorrow for chinwag, will take some pictures then. Fortunately my sculptor does have some GW orcs so that is the size he has based them on, still will get pictures tomorrow.
Zoggin you are dead right, what I should have said was same size not same style, I prefer mine anyway, but I am bound to say that aren't I.
As for painted yes I am painting some now for my own army, but to be totally honest my painting is the same as it was 30 years ago, back when I played WRG, and it was acceptable then, but now its so dated, I block paint, and use army painter for the shading, so its fine for me, but no good for showing off new figures.

Nothing wrong with army painter method. It's actually a good way to show off your range. It lets people know how they will look with average skill

I have put a comparison picture with GW on the kickstart, as you will see very similar just not so hunched over and not like they are on steroids, but of course make up your own mind, me I like em, and Martin is cracking on with the next fifteen and the character I am going with a orc shaman.
I am thinking the next project, if this one works, maybe a Orc female as the character, thinking along the lines large busted extremely ugly with a meat clever.
