Precision Model Designs?
« on: 13 August 2014, 09:34:58 PM »
I saw these on the web recently, resin and metal AFV's scaled at 1/50, perfect for using with my Corgi armour.
Can anyone offer an opinion on what they are like?

I have a few.Some Shermans , TDs, and Chars.
They are OK.Not hugely detailed but they paint up nice.It was a major upgrade when they went to metal tracks. The old resin ones were poorly cast and warped terribly.
The barrels are solid cast metal, nice and sturdy, and the hulls and turrets are  solid blocks of resin. They are actually heavier than the metal corgi models. lol
All in all when you catch a sale they are good value.I buy mine from Battlemart here in the US and they do 20% off sales a couple times a year.
I've been waiting for them to re release, with metal tracks, the 251s and BT tanks but its been a few years now.
As far as matching the Corgis.I only have Shermans that are different from the Corgi, rounded hulls and Jumbos, so its hard to tell if they are a perfect match.Work well enough for me anyway.
