I've followed, though not played the HG universe in all it's incarnations, but I just have too many other things to divert my attention

HG is a game that I very much wanted to like but never did (and DP9's attitudes didn't help any).

But this is simply the cheapest source of 15mm-ish walkers right now...

I only had the best experiences with them. Both as a customer and licensee!

I just pledged because the deal looks pretty solid.  I'm working on a generic all-consuming mecha set of rules...so I figured I could use a few more avenues to run it.  And, I always like random big boxes of stuff showing up on my doorstep.

I feel I need to clarify this.

I bought the original first edition and pretty much all the books they had out at the time, but didn't really get around to playing it.

Soon afterwards they came out with a revised edition with some minor changes in the rules. Having just bought the books I asked what the changes might be.

Their answer was: "You have to buy the new books to know."

They lost me right there. As far as I know, the differences amount to a few sentences and wordings, so we're definitely not talking about a completely new edition here.

I see that Marc A. is no longer with the company, which may at least partly explain your positive experiences.

I'd love to link Marc's rant about the fair price of gaming books here, but I can't find it easily.
