That's a lot of ships  o_o

Wrong scale though (they need to be 28mm)  ;)

cheers

James

Wrong side of £700 too!!!  o_o o_o o_o  lol lol lol

On another note: What an absolutely fascinating blog you have!

I cannot begin to grasp how you find the time to paint all those figures. Do you have instructions somewhere?! I would like to learn how to paint big units like that,... I always end up fiddling around with details.  lol

I did do a few 'how I do' posts on stuff. Mostly they are are under the modelling and conversions label which needs renaming. Here are two:

I pretty much paint everything with the same technique except I rarely use washes or dry brushing on 28mm figures.

I've just posted a short battle report on the Actium scenario played here on Wednesday. Also, something about mad ideas.

I envy you, even the "...this is going to take me ages" bit.

I've just finished drawing hexes on my playing surface, well most of it. I've recently ordered GMT's War Galley board game and plan on running some table & miniatures games using the rules. Hexes will also, hopefully, help spawn some new home spun rules.

I've done the basic table (12 x 6) with about 1,450 hexes. I still have the drop leaf table extension (2' 8" x 6') but, frankly, this was the most mind numbing chore I've undertaken in ages, so I'm putting the hex template aside until I need to do it - a 12' x 6' space will do for most scenarios I'm planning.

You sir are either mad or a war gamer  lol

Must say though the result must look great from the sample shown - green with envy as the most I did was just under 3x2!
