A remake of the classic 1940 film The Wolfman is being released in spring 2009.
It stars Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins.

There is a trailer floating about on the web, which looks pretty cool.

Looking forward to this, particularly as they have gone back and set it in Victorian times.

The original version from 1940 was set in the "then current" times if I recall correctly.

Universal have bought up the rights to loads of old B&W horror movies, so we may be able to expect a Dracula, Frankenstein and many more on the way too!

There was talk of them being used in Hellboy movies, as background monsters, but sadly thats not come to pass.... Yet 

I think they bought the Hammer Back Catalogue as well, so it could be interesting what they make of those!
