This one, Holmes, & New Moon are on the list of upcoming movies I want to see.

Hope it is as good as it looks!!! I can't wait! Next to The Creature the Wolfman is my favorite Universal Horror Monster...Looks really moody, and the FX look crazy good!!! Arooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I quite agree, I didnt say much in my earlier post, but after looking at the trailer several times I can't wait either. its good to see that it has been made with a period feel, puts me in mind of the old Hammer films for gothic horror.

Danny Elfman is dooing the score and I know he is a big Hammer fan...all the sets/locations are well above anything I could expect. Let's hope this is a big-money return to more gothic storytelling...and I don't mean 'gothic' like Van Helsing... lol :'(

Fingers crossed for a remake of The Satanic Rites Of Dracula...

I'd prefer some of the earlier versions like "Horror of Dracula" or "Dracula Prince of Darkenss".

My complaint about "Satanic rites" and "Dracula AD72" is the contemporary settings I think Hammer had run out of steam by then and were trying to update the stories for the modern teenage audience.  :(

And I agree about "Van Helsing".... lol

I would agree if only The Satanic Rites wasen't so fun...it somehow mannages to have all the flare and flavor of the older ones (and plenty of 'Crissy Hissy' action. Can see what you mean about the modern setting...modernish anyways, but there is still lots of creepy mood and atmosphere from the sets and locations.

Plus...Satanic Rites! These guys have got to be the dumbest occult worshipers I've ever seen...Dracula is gonna screw 'em up! Hisssss!

Dracula AD72 is pure crap...

And, yeah...Horror Of Dracula is pretty much tops... :)
